Thursday 27th September 2007 Happy Birthday to Hannah. Here's some pictures of what I got up to today. To see lots more go here.
It will have been a most eventful week for her. It started with a trip to casualty in the early hours of Monday morning when after from suffering from a heavy cold, she then suffered a choking fit at a party and became worse as the day went on. So hence the trip to casualty. She had a mask placed on her and was fed oxygen and salbutamol. She also was given chest x-rays, and emergency steroids, all in the crash room of Watford General A&E. She was very brave and was so breathless she could hardly talk but still had the staff in stiches with lots of funny comments. It turns out she'd had a Viral lung infection and had suffered a lung spasm. She was admitted after being in the crash room for 3 and a half hours. And was placed on oxygen every hour until the morning. No-one slept, Hannah only got about an hour and a halfs sleep that night, but by the afternoon of the following day was able to leave and go home. Although she still has to have a mask and her puffers given to her every six hours for the time being. This was very stressfull, but she seems to be making a full recovery. Just in time for her Birthday.

Comment | Posted by Andy Wilkes | September 16th 2007 Saturday 8th September 2007 ..since my last confession, and either way you look at it a lot has happened or not a lot has happened, it depends if my sad little ramblings flick your bean or not. And I'm writing this out in the garden at nearly half past nine in the evening (2130hrs) using my WiFi and a lantern to illuminate my keyboard, listening to Mercury 96.6 FM, George Benson is playing at the moment! And my only company is my mate Stella. In bottled form (33cl). 48 Bottles from Costco for a score (£20). All to escape the X Factor ! So what's the SP? here's a selection: A few drunken nights in London mainly involving Daryl and copious amounts of Grolsch and falling over. A celeb fest at the Nationwide Mercury Music Prize, where you no doubt have heard that I looked after Dizzee Rascal for 2 days. The landscaping has finally been finished on my garden and I have grass down and it's growing nicely. Mike Maxwell did the dirty deed again, I told him I wasn't going to attend anymore, and was bombarded with the usual " when yours?', but I was the last to leave, 4am. Nice. Still trying to used to traveling to Docklands for 8am every work day, it's taken a month just to manage to get a small snooze on the tube and then I'm still worried about snoring. Docklands is a good place to work as the views and the general surroundings are all very good, I still have to sample the night life to any varying degree, but I'm sure that will come sooner rather than later. And to finish for today: The Gayest picture. Ever. Taken at the Blue Oyster Club. 12 years in the Navy and this is your party trick? Brian............... Much Love.
