Started with stress about the SatNav, then carried on with stress about getting ready, then stress about Hannah's whereabouts during the speeches (which I missed). Then Daryl got stressed with Hazel. And ended when Luke got stressed with Tommy's stories about a mountain and the night porter getting stressed about noise in the bar where we had retired for afters. I went to bed with my half drunk bottle of Sol. And I was stressed by my hangover in the morning.

Soil up to about a foot deep will be excavated and replaced and new turf laid and hopefully it'll look good. This was supposed to happen in Easter, but it looks like the garden is going to be out of action for a while. Lets hope the weather doesn't improve too much.
Last day at work tomorrow, planning on packing up my desk and saying goodbye, and that's about it. Then 2 weeks off and the daily commute back into town becomes a reality after 4 years away. about to come to an end and at last the sun has been out, Sunday was spent in the garden. I was out at about 7.30am enjoying the sunny weather and was enjoying the peacefulness of the outdoors. we set the half tent up. Designed an obstacle course for the kids and then the water balloons came out. I managed a quick snooze in the half tent, before being awoken by a bursting water balloon. Bent scored on his Spurs debut, so fingers crossed. Talking of things bent here's a slightly funny picture..

It
was out for most of Saturday and all day Sunday too. On Saturday Baz came
round with Lauren and Connor, Frederick came too so the kids were very
loud and lots of table foosball was played. we have come to realise that
Lauren only has 1 sound setting: LOUD. My ears were bleeding at one point.
We had a bimble down one of the local Parks and there was a large paddling
pool and they all stripped off and went in. Splashing and shouting abound.
Connor turned blue towards the end although he seemed to be the only one
feeling the cold. It was back to mine for a BBQ (the first of the season)
and more japes in the garden.
