Le Grande Roosh

Le Grande Roosh this weekend, was my first festival and was excellent.

We drove down to Brighton late morning on the Friday. And we found the place with no bother at all after driving down a very long country lane, following the comical signs that were leading us on our way. i think we were the first paying guests to arrive so we had the pick of the place. So we pitched the tent and got our selves sorted. Hannah had spotted the trampoline so we had a go on that and a general look around the site. Later when the music started we had already cooked our dinner and were ready to go, I had cracked the beers open at about 3pm and was buzzin' already. As the sun set we mooched around chatting to people and enjoying the music, the kids fell asleep in their push chairs and we managed to chill and watch the festivities, but we were so knackered we ended up in bed but about 11.30pm. We could hear the bands playing, but I soon fell asleep.

Saturday was the best day. The sun was shining and it truly felt like a summers day, there were activities all day from yoga to dance classes and craft activities for the kids, DJ's were playing and beers were being drunk. In the evening we watched the 5 or so live bands and then later on the DJ's came on and it was a bit of Old Skool magic and I danced like I hadn't for ages, I think I hit the sack about 2am, and fell asleep smiling.

It was raining on Sunday, so an executive decision was made to leave about 2pm if it had gotten no better, so that's what we did. We left tired but happy. Pics here

Festival

We are at Le Grande Roosh this weekend, camping with the kids, we've taken more stuff than we did to Devon, Nightmare.
