Update from Amanda
Hi all,
forgive me sending this mail to everyone but I have been meaning
to write for ages and am too tired to write individual mails to
you all, it’s the old age.
Alanda is very excited as she is off to Malaysia tomorrow. We
have to have her at the airport at 1pm. Spencer is already
freaking out. He always really stresses when she goes away
anywhere. I still have it together, well almost. I just have to
trust that she is going to be safe. It is such a wonderful
opportunity for her.
The kids start 2 weeks school holidays on Friday so it will be
nice to have them around (I hope!) and have a break from the
school routine for a while. We took the kids to see the
Spiderwick Chronicles last weekend. When I booked the tickets I
didn't realise how scary it was. We were undecided whether to
take Fraser but at the last minute did. We stocked him up with
goodies and his gameboy (which he didn't even play he enjoyed
the movie so much) and then when we could see scary bits coming
we got him to pull his beanie (woolly hat) over his eyes.
Spencer and Madi had them too. Madi is fearless so she was ok
but I think Spencer had his hat down more than Fraser!
We also got some family portraits taken. Dread to think what
they will look like as the kids were pulling some funny
expressions but hopefully they will be ok, and I will email you
some. I think we are going to Horton Hears a Who this weekend.
I went to a chiropractor today and had some tests done and some
x-rays and go back next week for the results. Hopefully I may
be able to improve my back a little, with all the new
advancements. It is worth a go anyway.
My dog is getting really big, I will have to send you some more
pics. She is a gorgeous girl, although a little on the
boisterous side. The kids wish she wasn't such a mummy's girl
though, but what can I say, the dog has taste.
Anyway, I am pretty tired so going to hit the sack with a cup of
tea and my latest Poldark novel (volume 6), hopefully I can get
a couple of chapters in before I fall asleep.
